A Few Sights to See
Check out the Cape Perpetua Visitor Center where they provide an exhaustive list of hiking trails and sights to enjoy in Yachats. Then take the winding, wooded drive to the top of the Cape Perpetua Headland, to an awe-inspiring overlook, 800 feet above the Pacific Ocean. On clear days, views extend nearly 40 miles out to sea, and along 70 miles of coastline. Don’t miss the lovely walk at the top along Whispering Spruce trail. · (541) 547-3289
From Yachats State Park on the north side of the Yachats River (839 Ocean View Dr.) to a sandy beach 1.7 miles to the north, this popular trail is a nice walk along the beach and through oceanfront neighborhoods, providing expansive ocean vistas and access to tide pools and pebbled coves.

Our favorite Yachats spot is the Bob Creek Cabin & Studio, nestled beside Bob Creek and across the road from the Bob Creek Wayside Beach. The property is a short drive to scenic hiking trails and must-see spots such as Thor’s Well (2.6 mi), Cape Perpetua (2.9 mi), Devil’s Churn (3.4 mi) and the iconic Heceta Head Lighthouse (8.5 mi). Come stay at Bob Creek and explore all the wonders that Yachats has to offer!
